Two, I noticed when recovering pages from the old wiki that we used a different category system, one that allowed for each book to be a category to itself, we will need to rebuild those category pages as well; certainly not an issue at all, just a note that it will need to be done. Do we want to make the new book category a sub category of the Book summaries or the Aubrey-Maturin novels category? (I don't remember if these lexicons you're working on included Unknown Shore and Golden Ocean.) | Two, I noticed when recovering pages from the old wiki that we used a different category system, one that allowed for each book to be a category to itself, we will need to rebuild those category pages as well; certainly not an issue at all, just a note that it will need to be done. John it looks good to me. Two things to note: One all of the books should link to an article, so things coming up red are actual broken links (The Surgeon's Mate for example should link as The Surgeon's Mate (novel) for example. - I noticed the broken link to The Surgeon's Mate. Either we had a disambiguation page in the original wiki or '(novel)' wasn't part of the name of the book article, but I may have to fix up a few of the references before I upload them. Also, yes, we did have a category for each book in the original wiki and those actually get created during the upload of the Lexicon articles as subcategories of the Aubrey-Maturin novels. And, yes, Unkown Shore and Golden Ocean are included in the GftP, but their categories are obviously not under the A-M novels.
- And, no, already existing articles in the Lexicon namespace are not a problem unless there are name conflicts. Any of those will need to be resolved manually, but the upload process will not overwrite an existing article. Jblumel 02:23, 24 June 2007 (BST)
