Lord Keith is an admiral, stationed as Admiral in the Mediterranean in the opening of Master and Commander, who acts a patron to Jack Aubrey. His wife, Queenie was one of Aubrey's tutors when he was a child and remains one of his great friends. He is possessed of a much beloved estate in Scotland called Tullyallan.[1]
