Current revision as of 09:53, 4 June 2007
As an admirer of POB's mastery of the English language, I'm suggesting a few changes to grammar:
First sentence should read "The goal of the WikiPOBia is is to create an on-line resource for the works of Patrick O'Brian; if you are reading these pages, you can contribute to them as well."
Under Editing Guidelines, there should be a "." after "revised". There should be a semicolon rather than a comma after "discussion area".
Under Neutral point of view, there should be a semicolon rather than a comma after "villains".
Under Respect for all contributors, there should be a semicolon rather than a comma after "accident".
Under Works of Patrick O'Brian, there should be a "." at the end of the second sentence. In the second paragraph, there should be a semicolon rather than a comma after "other sources".
Under The fillum, there should be a semicolon rather than a comma after "in the wiki". Alternatively, replace "however" with "but". In the next sentence, there should be a semicolon rather than a comma after "contrasted".
Replace "Actors careers" with "Actors' careers". After the link to IMDB, there should be a "." rather than a comma.
Thanks
