Which it's the great annotation project of the world

The WikiPOBia is a collective attempt to annotate the written works of Patrick O'Brian, particularly the 21 volumes of O'Brian's Aubrey-Maturin series, and to provide a source of information and analysis intended to increase readers' understanding, appreciation, and enjoyment of O'Brian's work and world. While the largest focus will be on the 21 volume Aubreyad, all of Patrick O'Brian's works can be represented, fiction and non-fiction.

What you will not find here are fan fiction stories, filks, poetry, or fan created art work.

As this is a collaborative project, (most) articles may be edited by any registered user; we believe that this will result in an evolutionary improvement in their quality.
