Citation: fui non sum non curo
Language: Latin
References: Post Captain, page 449
Meaning: I did exist; I don't exist now; I care not.

Notes:

(nb should probably be non fui, 'I didn't exist': see Master and Commander 232) a common tomb inscription (in the non fui version) with the sense of 'I came from nowhere, and now I've gone — what does such a fleeting life matter anyway?'.
