Citation: psychopannychia
Language: Greek
References: The Letter of Marque, page 80
Meaning: sleep of the soul

Notes:

'sleep' here implies a state halfway between wakefulness and death. The concept, popular with the 16th century Anabaptist sect, is more usually associated with John Calvin, who wrote a book of the same title arguing against the belief, than with the 17th century English divine Dr John Gauden.
