: I always have a hard time writing historical stuff due to tense.  When I wrote it originally I set it in past tense and proceeded to confuse myself no end and I thought it read even worse  which is why I switched.  One thing I can't stand is articles that toss back and forth because the author thought adding a header excused the tense shift. --[[User:LadyShelley|LadyShelley]] 23:49, 12 February 2008 (GMT)

I always have a hard time writing historical stuff due to tense. When I wrote it originally I set it in past tense and proceeded to confuse myself no end and I thought it read even worse which is why I switched.
