Ashgrove Cottage

Ashgrove Cottage is the fictional home of Jack and Sophie Aubrey. It is located near the real town of Buriton, in Hampshire, just north of Portsmouth.

From his observatory, Jack Aubrey is able to see the ships coming to and from Portsmouth. When first purchased it is a very small house, but is expanded throughout the series as Aubrey's fortunes improve.
